Rockstar released yesterday a new update for the PC version of L.A. Noire. Be warned that this update might break compatibility with the 60fps workaround, so back up everything before applying this patch. According to the release notes, the new patch comes with improvements to the game’s performance. Therefore, go ahead and download it if you are experiencing performance issues. If, on the other hand, the game runs smoothly to you, there is no reason in updating it. This new update will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
