A leaked YouTube ad for Borderlands 3 has surfaced earlier today, confirming the release date for this new looter shooter. According to the ad, Borderlands 3 will be released on September 13th (which is the date that was hinted via a deleted tweet on April 1st).
This ad also includes the Epic Games Store logo at the end so we can safely assume that the game will be released on Epic’s digital store. However, it’s not certain at this point whether the game will come out on multiple digital stores or whether it will be a timed-exclusive like some other recently announced PC games.
2K Games and Gearbox will reveal more details about Borderlands 3 later today so stay tuned for more.
If the game is indeed exclusive to the Epic Games Store, we’ll be sure to let you know. Until then, enjoy the following leaked YouTube ad!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
