Valve has released the Cold Stream DLC for the PC version of Left 4 Dead 2. According to the company, the X360 version will be delayed one week. Furthermore, L4D2 will be available on a brand new platform later this year and that platform is no other than Linux. Left 4 Dead 2 will be one of the first Valve games to be released on Linux, meaning that this will allow Linux users to run Steam and play the game directly without having to run additional software. Enjoy a Let’s Playthrough of it from YouTube’s member ‘KingZomp’ after the jump.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
