Lords of the Fallen will be released later today and according to CI Games, it will never feature the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Truth be told, CI Games never used Denuvo in its games. As such, we are not really surprised by this news.
We are pleased to confirm that Lords of the Fallen does not, and will never feature Denuvo.

Lords of the Fallen is a new Souls-like game that will be powered by Unreal Engine 5. As HEXWORKS has noted, the game will take advantage of Lumen, will feature really high-quality textures, and will be using UE5’s Chaos Physics for advanced simulation for clothes, chains, hair, and belts. However, I’m still not sure whether or not the game will be using Nanite.
CI Games will release Lords of the Fallen on October 13th. You can also find here the game’s official PC system requirements. Furthermore, the game will support both DLSS 3 and FSR 3.0 at launch.
For those wondering, CI Games has not provided us with a review code. As such, you should not be expecting a day-1 PC Performance Analysis. However, we’ll be sure to share our initial PC tech impressions as soon as the game comes out. Oh, and let’s hope that Lords of the Fallen won’t have any shader compilation or traversal stutters.
Stay tuned for more!
