Sony, Insomniac Games and Nixxes have revealed the PC system requirements for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and detailed its Ray Tracing features. So, let’s take a look at them.
The PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will have support for Ray Tracing Reflections, Shadows and Ambient Occlusion. Moreover, the game will support Ray Reconstruction. Plus, there will be support for NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3.1 and Intel XeSS.
PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT. With this PC setup, you’ll be able to run the game at 720p with 30FPS on Very Low Settings. The game will also require 140GB of free disk space.
For gaming at 1080p/Medium with 60FPS, you’ll need an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700.
For 1440p/High Settings with 60FPS, PC gamers will need an Intel Core i5-11400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800.
The aforementioned PC requirements are without RT. So, let’s now take a look at the RT requirements.
For 1440p/High Settings/Ray Tracing High, you’ll need an Intel Core i5-11600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT. With this PC setup, you’ll be able to run it with 60FPS.
For gaming with Ray Tracing Very High at the same settings, you’ll need an Intel Core i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 9 5900X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX.
Finally, for 4K/60FPS with Very High Settings and Ray Tracing Ultimate, you’ll need an Intel Core i9-12900K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D with 32GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 4090.
