It seems that Electronic Arts has mistakenly sent the press releases of Mass Effect 3: Leviathan DLC prior to its EA Summer reveal. No surprise here as the press release for the new Army of Two game (for X360 and PS3) was also leaked, even though it was a GameInformer exclusive story.
According to the press release, Mass Effect 3: Leviathan is the first story-driven, single player DLC to be made available since Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut. Leviathan expands upon the events of Mass Effect 3 with gripping and emotional storytelling, compelling new characters, powerful weapons and unique upgrades.
Players will be able to discover more about the origins of the reapers as they race across the galaxy to unravel the mystery that surrounds the fabled Leviathan.
This DLC was initially unveiled by gamers when the Extended Cut of Mass Effect 3 got out. The release date of the Leviathan DLC is TBA.
A while back, BioWare teased a new Mass Effect 3 announcement. And since this press release got out, we can safely say that this surprise was no other than the official announcement of the Leviathan DLC.
[UPDATE]
During EA’s Summer Conference, BioWare revealed that the Leviathan DLC will be released on all platforms this Summer!
