And it’s finally revealed. The next Medal of Honor title will be called Medal of Honor: Warfighter and is slated for release this October on current generation consoles and PC. That was revealed by the latest issue of the Official Xbox Magazine. Medal of Honor: Warfighter will be a reboot to 2010’s Medal of Honor title, which was also a reboot to the old franchise. And… well… we can’t wait for the next Medal of Honor title that will most probably be a new reboot (yeah, that was a joke in case you didn’t catch it).
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is developed by Danger Close Studios and will be powered by DICE’s Frostbite 2.0 engine. Contrary to its previous part, this time around the multiplayer mode will be developed internally and won’t be handled by DICE.
EA will have more to show at GDC in San Francisco next month, so stay tuned for more!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
