RRThiel and his team have announced that they are working on a new retro Mega Man game for the PC, Mega Man Perfect Blue. Mega Man Perfect Blue is not an official title, and will be free on the PC once it’s complete. In order to celebrate this announcement, the team released its first gameplay trailer that you can find below.
In Mega Man Perfect Blue, players will blast through 4 robot masters worth of unique mechanics, art, and music, as they stop Dr. Wily’s evil plans.
The game will feature 16-bit visuals and gameplay mechanics. Thus, if you have played the SNES Mega Man games, you basically know what you can expect from it.
It will be interesting to see whether Capcom will send the team a C&D letter. After all, this isn’t an official Mega Man game.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
