Fulqrum Publishing has announced that its upcoming strategy game, Men of War 2, will be now released on May 15th. Men of War 2 was delayed in 2022, so hopefully Best Way used these two extra years to further polish it and optimize it.
Best Way has also shared the final PC system requirements for it. According to the devs, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5 2300 with 8GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 660. The game will also require 25GB of free disk space.
The devs recommend using an Intel Core i7 7700k with 16GB of RAM and an NVidia GeForce RTX3070 for gaming at 4K.
In short, you won’t need a powerful PC to play it. Or at least that’s what these PC requirements hint at. Sadly, though, the devs have not shared the framerates and settings that these PC specs target. Still, it’s worth noting that Best Way claims that the game’s engine will take full advantage of 64-bit and multithreading processing to ensure the best possible optimization and smooth experience even on lower-spec PCs.
Men of War 2 will have a single-player campaign with three different stories. You can play as the Soviets defending against the Germans on the Eastern Front, the Americans landing in Normandy and dealing with limited supplies, and a German officer retreating to Berlin near the end of the war. Each story gives a unique perspective on World War II.
The game will also have multiplayer PVP and co-op modes. Oh, and there will be also full modding support. So, it will be interesting to see what modders will be able to achieve with them.
