In April 2021, we reported on Metal Gear Online 2 being playable on PC via the PS3 emulator, RPCS 3. And today, its team released a trailer that showcases the game running on PC.
As the team behind it claimed:
“Using a custom build of RPCS3 developed by TriggerHappy and in conjunction with PX_Machida, Metal Gear Online 2 comes back to life on the PC.”
In case you did not know, Konami has already taken down the official PS3 servers for Metal Gear Online 2. This basically means that owners of the original game cannot play it on their consoles. However, and by using RPCS3, PC gamers can play Metal Gear Online 2.
Now while the trailer claims to be an “official” trailer, we should note that Konami is not involved in this. So yeah, this is actually a “fan” trailer.
