MicroProse has just announced a new tactical turn-based strategy game, called Forgotten but Unbroken. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher has also shared the game’s debut gameplay trailer which you can find below.

Forgotten but Unbroken aims to give players a cool and interesting gaming experience by mixing real history with a personal story. As you play, you’ll come across a newspaper that talks about actual things from World War II, like the Battle of Kursk or the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich. These big events are presented alongside the story of the main character, Commander Martin, whose life is affected by what’s happening in the war.

This dual narrative approach aims to provide players with a rich historical context. Plus, it will immerse them in the emotional journey of the main character. Or at least that’s what the devs aim to create.

The game will feature real characters from WWII. MicroProse claims that they will be carefully and respectfully selected for their legacies. Moreover, players can expect six different classes. Each class will have its unique abilities and perks.

What’s also interesting is that MicroProse has shared the PC requirements for this strategy game. PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i3 or AMD Phenom II X4 with 8GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 or AMD Radeon R9 270X. The game will also require 30GB of free disk space.

MicroProse recommends using an Intel Core i5 3GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 3.1 GHz with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 480.

There is currently no ETA on when the game will come out. However, the publisher claims that it will be released sometime in 2024.
