Despite its early development stage, Microsoft Flight Simulator already looks gorgeous. However, it appears that the game will receive an additional visual improvements as it may support real-time ray tracing effects.
According to IGN, RTX features will be coming to the game in the future. While IGN has not revealed any additional details, we can assume that it is referring to Ray Tracing and not to DLSS.
Microsoft and NVIDIA have not revealed anything official yet, so we don’t know when these RTX effects will be added. My guess is that Microsoft will add real-time ray tracing when the game is closer to its release date.
IGN has also shared a new video, showing some new gameplay footage from the game’s latest preview build. Microsoft Flight Simulator looks absolutely stunning, so we suggest watching it.
From what we know so far, the game will emphasize on simulation, is designed for PC, will support mods. Moreover, Microsoft plans to release the game in 2020.
Enjoy!
