Aaron Wilde of VisionArts has informed us about his company’s upcoming indie title, Middle of Nowhere. Middle of Nowhere is a single player, first person survival horror game that is powered by the Unity engine. The game focuses on story-driven gameplay mechanics and there is a Kickstarter campaign with which VisionArts aims to fund it.
What’s interesting here is that there is a playable demo to try, so kudos to the team. As VisionArts described, the goal of this demo is to try everything out while solving the puzzle of finding 4 parts in order to build a bridge. The demo has the option to try out skills, some work in progress combat, guns, a puzzle and to see and feel the world VisionArts has created.
Middle of Nowhere aims to raise £25K in the next 34 days, and those interested can back this project up by visiting its Kickstarter page.
Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
