Activision has released a new Map Pack for Modern Warfare 3, that is currently available only to the CoD Elite members. The first Map Pack includes two maps, ‘Liberation’ and ‘Piazza’, which are free to download for gamers that have a premium Elite membership. But what about those non-Elite gamers? Well, apparently they’ll have to wait a whole month, as the first Collection of these new maps will be made available to them in March.
That was revealed by Robert Bowling, Infinity Ward’s Creative Strategist. As Robert tweeted when someone asked him about the release of these new maps for all the non-Elite gamers:
“The first Collection for non-ELITE members comes out in March.”
We expect this trend to keep on with all the new Map Packs that are coming to Modern Warfare 3, and we can expect a slight delay for the PC version.
Therefore, if you want to enjoy CoD: MW3 to its fullest, you’ll need a premium Elite membership. Say now that you didn’t see it coming!
