Monster Hunter is a series that most Capcom fans are aware of. In case this name does not ring any bell, this is a series of fantasy Action Adventure video games that is developed and published by Capcom, in which the player takes the role of a hunter in a fantasy environment and completes quests by seeking out monsters to hunt or capture.
In an attempt to win the PC crowd (or to take advantage of the F2P model), Capcom decided to ?evelop Monster Hunter Online for the PC. The good news is that the game will be powered by Crytek’s CryEngine 3. The bad news is that it targets the Chinese market. The game will be published by Tencent.
According to its press release, Monster Hunter Online will feature new skills, weapons, moves and maps, as dragons and humans struggle to co-exist.
Let’s hope that Capcom will release Monster Hunter Online and in other regions [UPDATE: Capcom confirmed that Monster Hunter Online will be coming to the West).
For now, enjoy the game’s debut trailer!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
