In an interview with Multiplayer.it, Capcom Japan’s Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto confirmed that Monster Hunter Rise will be coming to PC. According to Tsujimoto, the PC version will come out in early 2022.
Here is what Ryozo Tsujimoto had to say when asked about Monster Hunter Rise hitting other platforms.
“We’re proud to announce that Monster Hunter Rise will be coming to PC as well, at the beginning of 2022. We can’t really say much else now, but we hope you’ll like the game in whatever format you choose to buy it.”
This basically falls in line with Capcom’s leaked documents. In 2020, Capcom was hit with a ransomware attack. In November 2020, the hackers leaked some documents, revealing Capcom’s plans to bring Monster Hunter Rise to the PC.
According to the leaked documents, the PC version will support uncapped framerates, as well as Freesync and GSync. Moreover, it will offer proper mouse and keyboard controls. Not only that, but Capcom suggests its development team to avoid hard-coding the output resolution to 720p or 1080p.
