MotorGun was an interesting new vehicular combat game with RPG elements, that aimed to blend Interstate 76 and World of Tanks together. Unfortunately though, its Kickstarter campaign was canceled. According to the official statement, the current form of MotorGun was not what its fans wanted, and that’s the reason why the team decided to cancel the Kickstarter campaign in order to reformulate it.
As David said:
“Kickstarter is a harsh mistress. Lots of projects are pitched to the community and sometimes they resonate and sometimes they don’t. In this case, what we were pitching wasn’t exactly what you guys wanted. So, as a result we’re making the tough decision to not drag it out, and we’re going to cancel the campaign and start working to reformulate it.”
MotorGun promised to feature a real world car physics and a diverse set of realistic cars to a set of amazing weapons systems of all kinds, and aimed to put you in control of a deep set of customization elements.
MotorGun was originally meant to be an MP focused title, however fans have been asking for an SP mode with a storyline. Pixelbionic wanted to add an SP stretch goal, however that was not what the fans have been asking this whole time.
It will be interesting to see what will happend with this title, so stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
