A while ago, we informed you about the lawsuit of Namco BANDAI against CD Projekt RED. And sadly, the ‘early outcome’ of that lawsuit is not as good as the developers were hoping to as Namco BANDAI won this first round.
According to Namco, CD Projekt RED breached their contract with Namco when they decided to choose THQ as the sole publisher of The Witcher 2’s X360 version. And the court in Lyon ruled in the first instance against the makers of The Witcher 2.
Now we don’t know if the X360 will be delayed further more so for now we can only assume that it’s release date will remain the same – Q1 2012.
CD Projekt RED and Namco Bandai will meet again on September 27th back to court to fight over the distribution rights of The Witcher 2, as well as the removal of the DRM system by the developer.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
