Although 2K Games has not announced yet the next part in its NBA 2K series, a leaked trailer suggests that NBA 2K24 will support crossplay.
As the leaked trailer suggests, the game’s next-gen version will support crossplay. And while this is great news, we still don’t know whether or not PC will receive the next-gen version.
You see, these past couple of years, 2K Games has been releasing the old-gen version of NBA 2K on PC. The PC versions of both NBA 2K22 and NBA 2K23 were based on the old-gen console version. So yeah, there is a chance that PC gamers will be, once again, left behind. And, if that happens, PC gamers won’t be able to play with their console brothers.
For what it’s worth, both NBA 2K22 and NBA 2K23 have Mixed reviews on Steam. And, I seriously hope that these games didn’t sell well on PC. Otherwise, 2K Games won’t have any reason at all to start treating PC gamers as first-class citizens.
2K Games will most likely reveal NBA 2K24 this or next week. Historically, the publisher has been revealing the latest NBA 2K game in the first half of July. So yeah, expect official news to hit the Internet soon.
You can watch the leaked trailer here. And, let’s hope that the PC version of NBA 2K24 will support crossplay.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
