NeoAxis have released a new video that showcases the changes that have been made to their in-house game engine, the NeoAxis Engine. NeoAxis Engine 1.2 – that is currently available for download from here – supports HDR, Depth of Field and God Rays. NeoAxis Engine looks interesting, though it can’t compete with the likes of Unreal Engine 3 and CryEngine 3. Still, this is a great engine for indie devs and sports better and more colorful visuals than most multi-platform titles. Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
