Remember a while ago when we posted a video about Mari0, the ‘Super Mario Bros meets Portal’ indie game? Well, get ready because we have some brand new footages from it that look simply amazing and you’ll get the chance to see its co-op gameplay mechanics for the first time in action. In case you were unaware of, this is an actual game under developement that is coded with Löve and will be released for free.
In addition, all the source code of the game will be available after release.
The game will have mappacks, which will be downloadable from ingame. Users most likely won’t be able to publish maps directly, but will be able to send them in and the developers will add them for everyone to use.
Moreover, the primary maps will have a story and some portaly puzzles and the game will support simultaneously multiplayer. Mari0 will also feature a level editor so you can edit the level while you play and all original SMB levels and Lost levels will be included.
Enjoy the video!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
