Reddit’s user ‘Tunesz’ has shared the following image, showcasing an internal change log at Valve that was captured during a recent tour of Valve’s Seattle office. According to the change log, Source Engine 2 and Left 4 Dead are currently under development, something that should not obviously shock us. After all, we’ve known for a while that Valve was working on a new version of its Source engine. On the other hand, Left 4 Dead 3 was hinted a couple of days ago by Valve’s Marc Laidlaw. Still, it’s good to see an almost official confirmation for both of them. Valve has not commented on this yet (and we don’t expect it to do so).

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
