Okay Tomb Raider fans, we got some good and some bad news for you today, as Crystal Dynamics global brand director, Karl Stewart, has answered a number of fans’ questions on his Twitter account. According to Karl, Tomb Raider will feature a regenerating health system and a Lara that will be unable to swim. How awesome is that, right? A Tomb Raider game in which our heroine regenerates (magically) her health and can’t swim. Oh the irony of crafting a game in a way to please casual gamers.
In addition, Karl revealed that Crystal Dynamics has already plans for a sequel – provided this game is successful and sells well. Moreover, Tomb Raider’s storyline will have plenty of twists as Crystal Dynamics love such things.
Naturally, Tomb Raider fans can expect to find secret treasures and rooms, while Karl has also hinted about some easter eggs / references to the original Tomb Raider game.
Last but not least, Karl has unveiled that the game will last around 12 to 15 hours (depending on your play style).
Tomb Raider is currently planned for a March 5th, 2013, release on PC, X360 and PS3!
