Earlier last month, Bethesda announced that the first reveal of the next DOOM game will be shown at this year’s QuakeCon. And today, the big publisher revealed that this sneak peek will be available only to those who attend this annual event.
According to Bethesda, it won’t publish to the media any new screenshots or videos for this next DOOM game. And to be honest, Bethesda’s latest message seems kind of bizarre, suggesting that there might not be any new footage at all.
“Fans in attendance at QuakeCon 2014 will have the opportunity to get a sneak peek at what’s been going on with the new DOOM game from id Software.”
Get a sneak peek at what’s been going on? For all we know, this could very well be a speech that is accompanied with some concept arts or WIP footage at best.
QuakeCon 2014 takes place July 17th – 20th, so hopefully someone will capture with his/her camera whatever Bethesda will be showing.
