NVIDIA has just announced its GeForce Gaming Celebration event that will take place on August 20th. According to the green team, the event will be loaded with new, exclusive, hands-on demos of the hottest upcoming games, stage presentations from the world’s biggest game developers, and some spectacular surprises.
Rumour has it that NVIDIA will reveal its next-gen high-end graphics card, the GeForce GTX1180, during Gamescom 2018 and that it will launch it on August 30th. Now while this has not been confirmed yet, we can assume that the green team will reveal – or at least hint at – this highly anticipated graphics card during this event.
Naturally, this event will be livestreamed so that those who cannot attend it can watch it from their couch. Again, this isn’t a confirmation of the GTX1180 so don’t be surprised if NVIDIA does not announce it during that event!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
