NVIDIA has released a brand new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the NVIDIA GeForce 442.50 WHQL driver provides optimal support for Apex Legends: Season 4, The Division 2 Warlords of New York expansion, and ARK: Genesis Part 1.
Furthermore, this new driver adds security updates for driver components. It also adds VRSS profiles for a variety of VR applications.
Moreover, this driver adds adds support for three previously-announced G-SYNC Compatible displays. These new displays are: AOC AG271FZ2, AOC AG271F1G2, and ASUS PG43U.
It’s also worth noting that this driver addresses the DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG 0x887A0006 crash in APEX Legends. It also resolves some random crash issues in Mortal Kombat and Red Dead Redemption 2.
