NVIDIA has just launched a new driver for its graphics cards. This new driver, the NVIDIA GeForce 546.01 WHQL Game Ready Driver, is designed to make Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 run really well on your PC.
Moreover, this new driver is optimized for some other games that will come out in a couple of days. These games are Desynced, Jusant, and RoboCop: Rogue City.
The new NVIDIA GeForce 546.01 WHQL Game Ready Driver also resolves a couple of game issues. For example, it fixes issues like slower loading in Halo Infinite. It also resolves significant performance drops on the Maxwell-based GPUs.
This new driver also adds a setting to disable the shared memory fallback. According to NVIDIA, this should make performance stable at the risk of a crash if the user uses a setting that requires more GPU memory. And guess what? If you have an LG C3 OLED TV, it’s now listed as a validated G-SYNC compatible display in the NVIDIA Control Panel.
Like always, you can download the new NVIDIA driver from this link. I’ve also included below its full list of tweaks, fixes and changes.
