NVIDIA just launched a new app and driver for their graphics. The NVIDIA App is like a newer version of NVIDIA Geforce Experience, and soon it will replace the old control panel. On the other hand, the new driver, NVIDIA Geforce 551.61 WHQL, will give you the best performance for Nightingale.
NVIDIA’s new app makes it easy to adjust game and driver settings from one place. It also comes with a cool new in-game overlay. So, think of it as an upgraded version of NVIDIA Geforce Experience. And yes, it includes everything that the service had. For instance, you can use tools to record gameplay, check performance, and use cool filters to make your games even better.
It’s also worth noting that the NVIDIA App will no longer require you to log in. This is a huge win for all gamers. Moreover, it introduces two new RTX features. These are RTX HDR and RTX Dynamic Vibrance.
RTX HDR will transform SDR games on HDR PC monitors. It’s like the TrueHDR Mod we talked about before. And there’s RTX Dynamic Vibrance, which makes game colors pop more than the regular NVIDIA Control Panel. So, your games will look super clear and vibrant.
As for the new driver, the NVIDIA Geforce 551.61 WHQL fixes some stability issues in Rainbow Six Siege when running Vulkan API. It also now allows NVIDIA Freestyle to save its settings after quitting a game.
You can download the NVIDIA App Beta from this link. You can also get the new NVIDIA driver from this link. I’ve also included below its full list of tweaks, fixes and changes. So take a look at them.
