NVIDIA Geforce 555.85 WHQL Driver is now available for download, optimized for Hellblade 2 & F1 24

NVIDIA has released a new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the NVIDIA Geforce 555.85 WHQL driver is optimized for both Hellblade 2 and F1 24. So, if you are interested in these two games, we suggest downloading and installing it.

Going into more details, this new Game Ready Driver provides the best gaming experience for the latest new games supporting DLSS 3 technology including F1 24, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, and Serum. Moreover, it adds support for Ubisoft’s F2P title, XDefiant, which supports NVIDIA Reflex.

For those wondering, this driver enables reBAR for Hellblade 2. After some reports, I got curious about whether or not this driver enabled it. So, I used the NVIDIA Inspector Tool to check the game’s profile. And yes, reBAR was enabled.

Tekken 8 fans should also get this new driver. As the green team noted, the driver fixes some random crashes that could occur on GeForce GTX 10-series graphics cards. Thus, the game should be more stable on those specific GPUs.

This new driver also attempts to fix an annoying issue with Horizon Forbidden West. NVIDIA notes that the driver fixes an issue that could cause lower GPU utilization when Reflex was set to “On + Boost”. As such, you can now enjoy even higher framerates when using that setting.

Now if you are not playing the aforementioned titles, you can skip this driver. From what we could see, it doesn’t pack any additional tweaks of fixes for other games. Thus, there is no point at all installing it.

Like always, you can download this new driver from its official website. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
