NVIDIA has just released a new driver for its graphics cards called the Geforce 555.99 WHQL driver. This driver makes games like Pax Dei and Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree run better on its GPUs. It also improves the gaming experience for new games that support DLSS 3 technology, such as Pax Dei and Still Wakes the Deep.
This new driver also comes with a few bug fixes. For instance, it resolves some flickering or black screen that could occur when using GeForce Experience if Instant Replay was enabled. It also addresses an issue with the NVIDIA App that could cause the FPS overlay to show “NA” in multiple games.
It’s also worth noting that this driver will let your PC detect the LG OLED48C4 TV and the LG 32GS95UE as G-SYNC Compatible. So, if you own either of them, make sure to download this new driver.
And that’s not all. CUDA 12.5 will now work with CUDA-enabled Docker images. Additionally, Microsoft New Teams/Outlook won’t have any visual artifacts when MFAA is enabled from the NVIDIA Control Panel.
Now if you don’t plan to play the aforementioned games and if you don’t suffer from any of the issues above, you can skip this driver. Normally, I’d suggest upgrading a driver only when you face issues. Unless of course, you own an AMD or Intel GPU.
Like always, you can download this new driver from its official website. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
