NVIDIA has released a brand new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the NVIDIA GeForce 565.90 WHQL driver offers the best experience in THRONE AND LIBERTY, MechWarrior 5: Clans, and Starship Troopers: Extermination.
It’s also worth noting that this new driver enables RTX HDR multi-monitor support within the latest NVIDIA App beta update. This will please all those who have more than one HDR PC monitor. So, let’s now hope that more and more devs will natively support HDR on PC.
The NVIDIA GeForce 565.90 WHQL driver also has a couple of bug fixes. For instance, it fixes a texture flickering issue in Final Fantasy XV that could occur when turning on Turf Effects. It also solves a crash to desktop issue in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.
Moreover, with this new driver, PC users won’t encounter any corruption issues with Steamlink streaming when enabling MSAA globally. Plus, the driver fixes some slight monitor backlight panel flickers that could happen when the FPS of a game drops below 60FPS.
Now if you are not interested in the aforementioned games, you can skip the driver. From what I could see, it’s not a major update or anything like that. If, on the other hand, you want to have your PC system up to date, you can download it from this link.
Finally, here is the complete changelog for this new NVIDIA driver.
