NVIDIA has just released a brand new driver for its graphics cards. According to the green team, the NVIDIA Geforce 572.60 WHQL driver offers optimal performance in Monster Hunter Wilds and NARAKA: BLADEPOINT.
It’s also worth noting that this driver fixes various black screen issues that could occur on the RTX50 series GPUs. I personally never encountered this issue. So, I don’t really know if this driver will fix all of those black screen issues that have been reported in the past few weeks. Still, if you suffer from it, you should download and install this driver.
Another issue that plagued the RTX50 series GPUs was the “water-like” artifacts that could occur when forcing X16 AF from the NVIDIA Control Panel. This is an issue that affected all RTX50 series GPUs (as I had it with both my RTX 5080 and RTX 5090). I haven’t installed the driver yet, so I don’t know if NVIDIA has fixed it.
NVIDIA has also fixed some stuttering issues that could occur on the GeForce RTX 50 series with SteamVR. So, those of you who play VR games will now have a smoother experience.
The NVIDIA Geforce 572.60 WHQL driver also fixes some audio issues that could occur when the GPU was connected via DisplayPort 1.4 w/ DSC at very high refresh rates. Plus, it fixes some image corruption issues that could occur on pixelated 2D patterns in some applications.
Moreover, this driver adds support for 29 G-SYNC Compatible displays that deliver a baseline VRR experience. You can find the full list here.
Like always, you can download this new driver from this link. Below you can also find its complete changelog. So, go ahead and take a look at it.
Stay tuned for more!
