Earlier today, NVIDIA shared a “Project Beyond” teaser, revealing that it will have a special GeForce broadcast at GTC 2022. This special event will air at 8AM Pacific Time, which coincides with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang’s GTC 2022 keynote.
My guess is that NVIDIA will officially announce the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series during that event. However, and as with all GPU announcements, I don’t really expect much from that event. As always, we might get a couple of benchmarks, a price tag and a release date.
Rumor has it that NVIDIA plans to release the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 in late October. If that’s the case, then there might be a launch event in October. Then, a couple of days prior to its launch, NVIDIA will lift the review embargo for this GPU and we’ll get some third-party benchmarks.
Now this is all speculation on my part, so take everything you read with a grain of salt. For all we know, NVIDIA may surprise everyone and share numerous gaming benchmarks. One thing is for sure though. The new Lovelace GPUs are around the corner so expect numerous leaks and rumors to surface these coming weeks.
Stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
