Obsidian Entertainment will work with Allods Team ito develop Mail.ru’s PC MMORPG Skyforge, the two companies announced on Friday during during the GDC 2013 in Moscow.
The game has been in development since 2010 and is expected to launch in 2014, the Russian web company stated in its latest yearly report.
Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart said:
“Skyforge is very interesting and promising project and I am glad that Obsidian Entertainment is involved in working on this game. I am confident that the cooperation with the Allods Team will be a great experience for all of us.”
Obsidian Entertainment is currently also developing Project Eternity after a successful Kickstarter campaign which raised nearly $4m and is slated to launch in 2014 for PC. Not only that, but the company is helping inXile with Torment: Tides of Numenera, and is developing a unique next-generation title as well as the new South Park RPG called South Park: The Stick of Truth.
