Oddworld Inhabitants is currently offering free copies of Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee on Steam for a limited time. Contrary to most of Steam’s offerings, this isn’t a free to play offer: once you download and acquire your free copy of Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, you will be able to keep it forever.
Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee is a platform game that was originally released in 1997. In Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, players assume the role of Abe; a Mudokon slave at the RuptureFarms meat processing factory. When Abe discovers that he and his fellow Mudokons are to be slaughtered, he decides to escape and liberate as many enslaved Mudokons as he can.
You can acquire your free copy of Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee by visiting the game’s official Steam store page.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
