OMEGA PHENEX COMMENCED PROJECT SIX feature

OMEGA PHENEX COMMENCED PROJECT SIX feels like a mix of Armored Core 4 & Ace Combat

Now here is something for all our mecha fans. Surume Manju has just announced a new mecha game that feels like a mix of Armored Core 4 and Ace Combat, called OMEGA PHENEX COMMENCED PROJECT SIX.

OMEGA PHENEX COMMENCED PROJECT SIX will let you fight enemies at an overwhelming sense of speed. According to the devs, there are no restrictions on turning speed, and the consumption of the boost gauge required for high-speed movement and flight is set to a moderate level. Enemy bullets are easy to avoid, making it easy to enjoy high-speed combat.

Aim controls will be similar to those of your typical FPS and TPS titles. As such, the game will appeal to a lot of players. Or at least that’s its goal.

Players will be able to customize both the appearance and performance of their mech. Moreover, the game will come with more than 30 missions, plus an ‘Arena Mode’ for one-on-one battles.

Although there is no ETA for when it will come out, Surume Manju shared the game’s official PC system requirements. According to them, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i7 4790 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti. The dev recommends using an Intel Core i9 9990k with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080.

To be honest, this feels like a cool game. Yes, it won’t win any GOTY awards. However, I’m all in for a fast-paced indie arcade mecha game. And, hopefully, it will have a story mode with some cut-scenes to keep things interesting.

Enjoy the trailer and kudos to our reader ‘durka durka’ for bringing this to our attention!
