Nordic Games has released two new trailers for Painkiller: Hell & Damnation that showcase all the new features of the PC release of the game plus the accompanying hellish heavy metal tracks “Monkey Nation” and “Run in circles” by Ojo Rojo. Painkiller: Hell & Damnation is built on Unreal Engine 3 and is slated for release next week. Nordic has provided us with a review code, so expect to see a Performance Analysis the moment it gets out.
Painkiller Hell & Damnation features an all-action explosive shooter campaign that can be played in single player mode, co-operative mode across four chapters, and several multiplayer-modes. The hardcore gameplay requires players to fight their way through weird and wonderful demons and fiends using the vast array of weapons all inscribed with a 666 imprint.
Originally released in 2004, Painkiller won high praise and many accolades from fans for its fast and unique gameplay. Keeping true to the old-school FPS ideology, lightning-fast movement enables skilful players to get into the heart of the fast-paced gameplay, topped off with stunning enormo-boss fights requiring sneaky tactics.
Developed by Polish studio The Farm 51 and powered by Epic’s world-renowned and highly-respected Unreal Engine 3, Painkiller Hell & Damnation is out on Windows PC on the 31st October and 22nd January for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
