Path of Exile 2 will feature a massively improved engine for graphics and physics. And, as I’ve already said, it looks better than Diablo 4. Furthermore, the game will have 19 new ascendancy classes. These characters are a new set of Exiles who fall into the same class archetypes as those in the original game.
It’s also worth noting that Path of Exile 2 will no longer be an expansion of Path of Exile 1. Instead, Path of Exile 2 will be a new standalone game, with separate game balance, systems and future expansions. At least, though, your purchases will still be shared between both games.
PoE 2 will offer two control methods on PC. Players can use a traditional point-and-click system, or WADS controls. And, to be honest, I’m kind of interested to see how the WADS controls will be.
Finally, the game will support cross-play and cross-progression between consoles and PC. As such, you’ll be able to play with your friends, no matter the platform they game on.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
