It appears that the new PAYDAY game, PAYDAY 3, will release on September 21st. This rumor comes from “Aggiornamenti Lumia” who has a pretty solid record regarding leaks. Aggiornamenti Lumia also previously leaked the release date of Lords of the Fallen, so this is pretty much a 100% legit leak.

In PAYDAY 3, players will step out of retirement back into the life of crime in the shoes of the Payday Gang, the envy of their peers and the nightmare of law-enforcement wherever they go. Several years after the crew’s reign of terror over Washington DC has ended, they assemble once again to deal with the threat that roused them out of early retirement.

From what we know, the game will be using Unreal Engine (though we don’t know yet whether it will be UE4 or UE5).

My guess is that Prime Matter will officially reveal the game’s release date at Summer Game Fest 2023. That, or we can expect to see the game on Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase event.
