Frogwares has released a PC demo for Sherlock Holmes The Awakened Remake. In addition, the team released a gameplay deep dive trailer which you can also find below.
Sherlock Holmes The Awakened Remake uses Unreal Engine 4. I went ahead and tried the demo and, unfortunately, it suffers from shader compilation stutters. I don’t know whether the team will address this in the final version (I somehow doubt but here is hoping that I’m proven wrong).
Sherlock Holmes The Awakened is a dark, HP Lovecraft-inspired story infused with the narrative arc of a young Sherlock Holmes taking on his first big case once he settled in London.
Although there isn’t any exact release date, Frogwares plans to release it in Q1 2023.
You can download its demo from its official Steam store page.
Enjoy!
