As you are aware of, we love the classic JRPGs (and especially those released during the 16bit days). And when our reader ‘Gianluca Manocchio’ informed us about a kickstarter campaign for a JRPG that was inspired by Playstation’s classic JRPGs, we felt the need to immediately share it with you. So, meet everyone Soul Saga; a love letter to J-RPG classics from the Playstation era like Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire, Suikoden, and Persona.
According to its description, Soul Saga is a story driven RPG with environmental puzzles and turn based combat styled after Final Fantasy 10, with its own twists. The game uses a battle initiation system similar to Chrono Trigger.
Disastercake, developer of Soul Saga, will be bringing Todd Haberkorn, the man behind the voice of Greed from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, to voice Mithos, so kudos to Mike Gale for that.
Soul Saga’s Kickstarter campaign aims to raise $60K, and there are 26 days left to it.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
