Eldon Harris has informed us about his upcoming zombie apocalypse survival indie title called Stop the Planet: I want to get off. The game is developed by Harris and Debora (the duo has formed the ‘Roencia Game Creators’ company) and there is a Kickstarter campaign for it. Players must survive against zombie, aliens, bandits, and nature. The title is being created via Gamemaker:Studio and is described as an open world exploration & survival with base construction game, and its release date will be postponed if it doesn’t get funded.
In Stop the Planet: I want to get off, players can harvest tree’s, berries, gold mines, etc.. using appropriate tools, build campfires, electric fences, portable generators, Molotov cocktails, use what they’ve learned during scenario’s to give them an edge, find survivors and learn from them, unless they got them killed, find food & water so they don’t starve, as well as protect their goods from bandit’s.
The game will also sport special events that happen during deaths or capture, co-op gameplay, a night/day cycle and weather effects.
The team aims to raise $24K in the next 29 days.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
