As we’ve informed you yesterday, Skyrim 1.2 came with a game breaking issue as the resistance to magic effects was completely broken. Well, Skyrim’s community came to its rescue and there is an unofficial fix in due time. To be more precise, modder ‘behippo’ released yesterday a new version of his team’s – work in progress – ’Skyrim Script Extender’ Mod that fixes this issue. We are not certain how behippo and his team has managed to fix it, and we don’t really care to be honest. Point is that with SKSE, the game is now playable for all of us.
So Skyrim fans, go ahead and download the SKSE mod from here.
In case you were unaware off, SKSE will be a modder’s resource that expands the scripting capabilities of Skyrim. It will do so without modifying the executable files on disk, so there will be no permanent side effects.
This team has worked on similar mods for pretty much every other Bethesda game and we are really looking forward to it!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
