Aaron Greenberg, the head of Xbox Games marketing at Microsoft, has announced that the remaster of Phantom Dust will be released tomorrow. While this may not excite some, Aaron revealed that the game will be made available for free to everyone.
Yeap, instead of re-releasing it at $29.99 (or even at $59.99 as some other studios do for their remasters), Microsoft will be giving away for free this new remastered version of Phantom Dust.

Naturally, this will be a free game that will be made available exclusively via the Windows Store. Still, it’s free so at least that’s something.
We’ll be sure to update this story once the game is available for download!
