Bluehole has announced that an intense new smaller-scale map for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, called Sanhok, is currently available on the PC. Sanhok is a 4x4km map inspired by the islands of Southeast Asia and designed for speedier combat.
As the press release reads, Sanhok is available now on PC following a testing period that gave players the opportunity to experience the all-new map and provide feedback during active development. Spanning 4x4km, Sanhok’s geography takes its inspiration from the various islands that dot the coasts of Southeast Asia and features map-splitting waterways, hidden underground caverns and distinct structures and villages, giving players a variety of avenues to approach combat and survival.
In order to celebrate this announcement, Bluehole has also released a new trailer for this brand new map that you can watch below!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
