The RPCS3 team has just announced that the Playstation 3 emulator, RPCS3, can now run all the games that were released on Sony’s console. In other words, every PS3 game will at the very least boot and show an image output.
We are delighted to announce that as of today, the RPCS3 Loadable compatibility category has reached 0 GAMES!
This means there are no PS3 games left that boot to a black screen on the emulator – every PS3 game at the very least boots and shows image output.

From this point on, the team will obviously focus on improving overall performance. Furthermore, the team will also focus on fixing graphical bugs and glitches. What’s also cool is that modders are releasing 60fps patches for numerous games that were locked at 30fps. As such, PC gamers can experience some of these PS3 games in a better way.
Earlier this year, the team released a video showcasing MotorStorm Pacific Rift running on the emulator.
Those interested can download its latest public build from its official website.
Have fun!
