In August 2020, we informed you about a potential remake of Prince of Persia. And, from the looks of it, Ubisoft is indeed working on such a remake. According to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, Ubisoft plans to reveal Prince of Persia Remake on September 10th, during its Ubisoft Forward event.
As Schreier said on his Podcast.
“Ubisoft has been planning to announce a bunch of games like Prince of Persia Remake, which was leaked a couple of weeks ago.”
So there you have it everyone. Jason Schreier is a really reliable source when it comes to leaks. Thus, we can safely say that Prince of Persia Remake is real.
The artwork for this Prince of Persia Remake was originally featured in a recent Reddit leak. According to that leak, Prince of Persia Remake targets a Holiday 2020 release date, though it may slip to 2021. The Remake will also have the same mechanics and story from the original (but with new twists).

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
