Striking Distance Studios, the creators of The Callisto Protocol, announced a new fast-action roguelike shooter, called Project Birdseye. This is a side project and not its next triple-A title. Still, it may interest some of you, so go ahead and check out its announcement gameplay trailer.
Project Birdseye will let Striking Distance Studios expand the world of The Callisto Protocol. It will also stretch its creative muscles on something a bit different without impacting development on its next AAA game.
The game will be using a top-down viewpoint, and promises to have a lot of action. Its graphics won’t also stress any PC systems. Or at least I hope so as this looks like a mobile game.
As I’ve said and before, I’m not a fan of roguelikes. So, that’s an easy pass for me. However, if you are a fan of this genre, you should at least watch its trailer.
And that is that. KRAFTON hasn’t shared more details about it. And, no. We don’t know yet when this game will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
