Remember those great Quake 3 days? Yeah, those days when skills, rocket-jumps and reflexes were the characteristics that differentiated the great from the awful players? Well, time to relive those moments with Warsow. Warsow is set in a futuristic cartoonish world where rocketlauncher-wielding pigs and lasergun-carrying cyberpunks roam the streets. It is a completely free, fast-paced first-person shooter for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.
Speed and movement is what Warsow is all about. Like a true cyberathlete you jump, dash, dodge, and walljump your way through the game. Grab power-ups before your enemy does, plant a bomb before anyone sees you, and steal the enemy’s flag before they know what is going on!
The team’s goal is to offer a fast and fun competitive first-person shooter without hard graphical violence – Warsow has no blood or guts flying around. This is a pure, old-school fragging game.
Those interested can download it from its official website. We should also note that the final, 1.0 version will be releasing today at 18:00 GMT!
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
