NVIDIA has just announced that two triple-A games will support its DLSS tech. These two games are Rainbow Six Siege and Red Dead Redemption 2.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the most GPU-demanding PC games. Thus, it’s great news that it’s receiving support for DLSS. Unfortunately, there is no ETA on when the DLSS patch will release.
As we’ve already reported, DLSS – in its current state – is amazing. As such, more games supporting this tech is actually great news. However, AMD has just announced its answer to DLSS, FidelityFX Super Resolution. AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution will work on both NVIDIA and AMD GPUs, and will support NVIDIA GPUs that do not have Tensor Cores. Therefore, it will be interesting to see whether FidelityFX Super Resolution will be as good as the latest version of DLSS.
Additionally, NVIDIA revealed that DYING: 1983 will support Ray Tracing and DLSS. Similarly, Icarus, the new game from the creator of DayZ, will support ray-traced global illumination.
